Tanks 9000
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

The Story:
A very advanced utopian society makes their decisions in combat sports, at stake a decision to merge two countries into one, eliminating your struggling nation's independence.
On one hand if you lose your country disappears, on the other all the other countries will help get your country back on it's feet.
Are you up for the challenge to take your country to glory? can you pass all the tests before you?
Development:
Tanks 9000 is currently in development by me Skywind Kitsune, a game built in the spare time of a very bored CNC machinist from the Midwestern United States.
The plan is to create four unique worlds, each containing four levels and a boss fight, along with hidden secrets to discover and unlockable tanks to collect.
This is my first modern era game, and I’m currently developing it using Godot 4, Aseprite, and whatever other affordable or free tools I can find. My goal is to create a fun game with little to no budget at all, relying on creativity, determination, and a lot tinkering and banging my head against my desk in my spare time.
Tanks 9000 will also feature music by my good friend Sanxion7 , who has generously given me permission to use music from their library in the game.
The First Demo:
The First demo is a prototype of the first level of the game along with a testing sandbox for upcoming features, please let me know in the comments below what you think of the game, any problems you encounter so i can resolve them.
This is a sequel:
This game is the sequel to a game I designed and helped build for Creator Jam’s Metaverse Makers Competition in 2022 on the Neos VR platform.
Our team named the original game Tanks 3000, which is completely unrelated to the C64 game of the same name.
With Tanks 9000, I’m bringing that original concept back and expanding upon it, finally telling the story and adventure that lies behind the game that started it all.

Pretty fun demo! the tank does feel a bit difficult to control but its probably skill issue
can't wait to see what the full game will be like
Thanks!, i am still fine tuning things on the control side, there will be more tanks to pilot that will control different.
Let me know what you guys think and if you encounter any bugs, follow me for updates, Thanks! ^-^
